About Nordgreen
The brand was founded in 2017 by two lifelong friends from Denmark: Pascar and Vasilij.
They were motivated to bring true Scandinavian design to everyone through Nordgreen watches UK that are stylish, versatile, high quality and affordable. They also wanted to develop a brand built on sustainability, drawing inspiration from Scandinavian values of generosity and social responsibility.
Since its establishment just a few years ago, Nordgreen has gone from strength to strength, rapidly expanding across Europe and developing a passionate following of watch-enthusiasts.
What the does the name Nordgreen mean?
Simple yet effective, each component of the Nordgreen name represents a key part of this brand’s identity.
“Nord” refers to the brand’s Nordic identity, which is apparent in everything from the minimalist design of the watches to the sense of community encouraged between employees, partners and customers.
Meanwhile, “green” is there to highlight the brand’s passion for sustainability. As well as employing traditional methods such as recyclable packaging, Nordgreen has also developed a very special environmental program which customers themselves can be directly involved in – click here to read about how you can give back.
Nordgreen in the UK
One of the reasons we’re so excited to become an official UK stockist of Nordgreen is because there are currently only 10 physical stores in the UK who supply this Danish watch brand.
In fact, Nordgreen UK only arrived a couple of years ago after launching an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign (that actually went on to become the biggest fashion crowdfunding campaign in Danish history). In 2018 their $15 000 funding target was eclipsed by a huge $222 000 worth of pledges, evidence of just how much the European community admired and supported this innovative brand.
Nordgreen Design
Nordgreen UK design is all about translating Danish lifestyle and values into their watches. In other words, they want to create pieces that strike the ideal balance between simplicity and functionality – always building on the idea that “less is more”, and that it is important to appreciate the little details.
They are also keen to design watches that can be worn every day and for any occasion, no matter what outfit you’re wearing. Each piece will effortlessly complement your personal fashion sense and lifestyle.
Jakob Wagner
Nordgreen work directly with Jakob Wagner, a prominent figure in Scandinavia who receives many accolades for his various design works. With more than 20 years of experience designing for international brands such as Bang & Olufsen, Alessi and Hay, he has perfected a style that embodies Danish values of elegance, minimalism and timelessness, while also honing the ability to seamlessly integrate functionality into every design. The result is a watch that is impressive to look at, and simultaneously invites the wearer to interact and form a connection with it.

Nordgreen Giving Back Program
As a brand who is keen to place more and more of an emphasis on sustainability and social responsibility, we are excited to welcome ethical brands such as Nordgreen to our range.
We believe the right to good health, a clean environment, and a full education are rights for all. The harsh reality, however, is that much of the world does not experience them. Motivated by our Danish values, when we founded Nordgreen, we knew we had to do our part to help to change this in whatever way we could. There was no excuse not to give back.
Pascar & Vasilij – Founders
Nordgreen is partners with three global NGOs – Water For Good, Pratham UK and Cool Earth – and the result is that each Nordgreen watch comes with the unique ability to support a very special cause. When you purchase one of these watches, you will not only receive a stylish, long-lasting accessory but you will also be given the opportunity to make a difference.
As the wearer, you can choose to do one of the following:
- Give two months’ of clean water to one person in The Central African Republic
- Give one month of education to one child in India
- Preserve 50 square metres of rainforest in Latin America
Once you’ve received your watch, all you have to do is locate your unique serial number (found on the back of the watch) and identification number (printed on the Certificate of Authenticity inside your watch box). Then, go to the Nordgreen Giving Back Program where you can select your cause and simply enter these details to make your donation. You can even return to website at a later date to check on the status of your donation cause!
